It's official. Barak Obama will be the next president of the United States. How can that be known before the polls even open? The Washington Redskins lost last night's Monday Night Football game as aired on ESPN. When that happens - a Redskin loss the night before the election, not Monday Night Football - The incumbent party in the White House loses. As it turns out, the Redskins are a far more accurate measure of presidential politics than all the other political pundits combined. The silly little prediction has been accurate for every election since 1936. So, if your are a Democrat and want Obama to be the next president, thank the Pittsburgh Steelers for spanking the Redskins. If you are a Republican and want John McCain to be the next president, blame the outcome of the election on some very lousy football.
