Teen Assaulted, Hospitalized for Cigarette
LEXINGTON PARK - 10/31/2008

On Oct. 29, at approximately 7 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a robbery. Investigation revealed a male, age 15, was walking in the area of Winding Way and Oregon Way in Lexington Park, when he was approached by two or more black males asking for a cigarette. The victim was struck in the head and knocked to the ground. One of the suspects reached into the victim’s pocket and removed a pack of cigarettes. The suspects then fled on foot. The victim was transported by ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital where he was treated and released. The primary suspect is described as a black male, in his teens, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants. The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office. |
