The Election is Only a Week Away. Know Where to Vote

SOUTHERN MARYLAND - 10/27/2008

Printer friendly

Given the growing level of acrimony and rancor in the presidential race and other candidates, the interest in the coming election is higher than at any time in recent memory.

The two presidential candidates have drastic and fundamental differences in the way they see the United States and the future health and well-being of Americans. The stock market is on a perilous roller-coaster ride with the financial health of most American’s holding on, hoping the ride comes to an end soon.

Banks once thought to be staunch and able to withstand economic vagaries, are finding out that is no longer the case.

Local governments are feeling the crunch of a housing market that is beyond stagnant and forced to reevaluate expenditures as planned revenues slide. Many smaller municipalities are reeling with budget problems.

Because the Nov. 4 vote may be one of the most important in memory to the future of all Americans, TheBAYNET.com is presenting a series of articles to ensure the Southern Maryland public is as informed as possible leading up to the important date.

What follows is a complete breakdown of all poling places in St. Mary’s and Calvert Counties. To find your Charles County voting locations, download the pdf. Look for more information as the election draws near.
