Theft Suspect Racks up the Charges

St. Mary’s County BCI detectives investigating the breaking and entering of two vehicles and a theft from one, on Green Gables Court, in Mechanicsville on Oct. 15, arrested Mark T. Grove, 23 of Mechanicsville, on Oct. 22. Detectives determined that Grove committed the crimes and stole a credit card in the process. He used the card at the Mechanicsville Burchmart to purchase items. Grove was charged with theft, breaking and entering of motor vehicles, malicious destruction of property, misrepresentation of a credit card to obtain goods, identity theft and defrauding the store with a credit card. He was incarcerated at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. |
