Teens Detained for Pot Possession
MECHANICSVILLE - 10/20/2008

On Oct. 14 at 1:22 p.m., Eric Maurice Chase, 18 of Callaway, and Joseph Xavier Young Jr., 18, of California, were arrested by Tpr. W. Jefferson for possession of marijuana. Chase was operating a green Infiniti when he was stopped for exceeding the posted speed limit on south bound Three Notch Road, in the area of Mt. Zion Church Road in Mechanicsville. While making contact with Chase and the passenger, Young, Tpr. Jefferson observed in plain view a small plastic baggie with marijuana on the driver’s side floor board. Both Chase and Young were taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where they were detained pending a bond review. |
