Arson in Lexington Park

Maryland State Fire Marshall's Southern Regional Office is investigating a vehicle fire on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 12:11 a.m. Units from the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department responded to the Fairfield Inn located at 22119 Three Notch Road in Lexington Park. Upon arrival, a 2004 Ford Explorer was on fire. The fire was discovered by a passerby. The victim’s vehicle was reported stolen to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office on Sept. 6.
