Calvert County Sheriff Dep. Jason Dean responded to a report of a subject with a gun on Shore Acres Drive in Prince Frederick on Sept. 30, at 10:25 p.m.

The complainant advised that the subject was walking back and forth while holding a rifle, waving it through the air and making comments.  The complainant then observed the man walk down the driveway and into his home.  Dep. Dean determined that the subject was Henry Elijah Hawkins, 47 of Prince Frederick.  Dean made numerous attempts to contact Hawkins but he failed to respond.

Police set up a perimeter around the home and the Calvert County Special Operations Team was called in, who ultimately made contact with Hawkins.

He was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
