2008 was a banner year for goings-on at the Calvert County Fair.  Moms, dads and kids had a grand time. 

Youth Day, in particular, drew crowds despite a rainy day.  Events included a bike drawing, art contest, black belt and martial arts demonstration, spelling bee, Kathleen Jacobs and puppets, hoopshooting, baseball fast pitch, K-9 demonstration, dancers, games and a Punt, Pass and Kick contest.
