Despite Some Rain Delays, Bowles Farm Had a Great Race Weekend

With rain showers disrupting some of the early racing on Friday, July 31, at Bowles Farm, the grounds crew went to work on the track while a great crowd waited and enjoyed refreshments and in general a good time with family and friends.

Tiki Bar Ceremony Blessed by the Tiki King to the Delight of all!

As of 3:30 people all over the area were still coming onto the island, visiting the Tiki Bar to do their share of celebrating. Many began approaching the main bar area in anticipation of the grand opening ceremony where Tiki King would bless the Tiki Bar.

Caught in the Net Twice in Three Days

Joshua Bruce Hildreth, 28, the subject of recent police action that saw him confined to the hospital for observation after confronting police with a shotgun was, once again, the center of attention. Hildreth, released from the hospital, was involved in a dramatic accident on April 8.
