On March 24, St. Mary's County deputies responded to a residence on Maria Way in Lexington Park for a domestic dispute.

Investigation revealed Joshua Bruce Hildreth, 28 of Lexington Park, was in a verbal dispute with the victim.  The victim locked Hildreth out of the residence.  Hildreth jumped onto the hood of the victim’s car, 2003 Hyundai, causing a dent.  Hildreth then burned the windshield wiper with a lighter.

Hildreth was arrested and charged with second degree malicious burning and destruction of property.
