" Universal Wrecking Corp. Purchases Two New Caterpillar Excavators "

Due to an increase in demolition, wrecking and scrap metal recycling projects awarded to Universal Wrecking Corp (UWC), the company decided to add two (2) new Caterpillar 320 CL excavators to their already extensive fleet of Caterpillar equipment.

UWC is experiencing unparalleled growth. The company is conducting several demolition and scrap recovery projects and is also bidding and in negotiations for several other large scrap recycling projects.

To meet this demand, the company determined that they needed to purchase two (2) Caterpillar 320 L Excavators. Both units will be fitted with LaBounty Grapples and one unit will also carry a generator magnet combination. We have been very pleased with our Caterpillar machines and find that the 320 size machine is ideal for sorting and separating the various materials generated by our demolition and scrap recycling projects. These machines have also proved invaluable on some of the smaller projects and projects that have size restrictions.

UWC has tested many manufacturers of excavators and shears in the last 10 years and has found that the quality of the Caterpillar and Labounty combination is far superior to other units. The initial cost is more then other brand combinations but the production and minimal down time pays for itself by completing projects on time or ahead of schedule which also has the added benefit of making UWC's client extremely pleased. Another benefit is that the resale value far exceeds other combinations.

UWC is always looking to improvement the company's safety, production and cost effectiveness. We take great pride in performing work safe, efficient and economically.

How complex it is to review/market/promote/publish my author clients.....Trying to wake the public of knowledge regarding the author's painstakenly written new novels takes a lot of brain power, creativeness and constant networking.

It is a slow process but the 'just' reward is worth it all when you actually see your client's book published and the glory is when that book is in the process of being put into production for a major movie.

'Cheers'

I need to vent a little bit about the "system" everyone has a system of doing things but doesn't lead to any exception. We teach our childern from the beginning to be an individual, however that in the real world doesn't fly. I am currently going through a situation with The College of Southern Maryland that has me a little upset with how things work.

I am currently a reciepient of Federal Student Aid. This is money in which allows me to attend school and persue a degree. A little background about my situation. I am currently a single mother of three, I work part time within the school system, and I am "disabled" (by medical standards-I receive ongoing treatment at the local dialysis center three times a week) To add to my plate I thought it would benefit myself and my children for me to go back to school to help support my family better. When I attempted to return to school in 2006 I was faced with the reality that in 1994, I was young a dumb and I registered for classes, and went to a few of them. However, at that time I was a new mother 19 and did make the best decisions and I stopped going. This left me with F's on my transcript and made it difficult to register. However I appealed to the school and they allowed me to register on academic probation. After I completed the courses i was adviced that my probation could be lifted after I complete the courses that I attempted previously with a grade at a least an D. I completed them with A's. I applied and was granted, the grades to be lifted. My first semester was hard, I had a full time class load (14 credits) and I became extreemly ill and almost lost my life. I had to drop two off my classes even though I had gone through most of the semester.
This brings us to Spring semester 07, my class load was 4 classes (12 credits), I was working part time, my dialysis, my youngest daughter entered 5th grade having difficulties and I opted to homeschool her the last semester, and my middle child started having emotional problems. I decided for this reason instead of failing to drop my Eng class I was taking online. I felt that i could not give it the time that needed to succeed in the class mainly because my children needed me.

My problem that i face is now CSM has decided for that reason (dropping the class) I will no longer receive federal student aid. Days after I receive that letter. I receive a letter from Sen. Dyson congradulating me on my choice to attend a college in MD and receiving a grant.

My issue is I am not just a snot nosed brat wanting to party through college, I am a parent with circumstances like many non traditional students at CSM. I have a 3.7 GPA, an am on the dean's list. Why is the financial aid department not looking at every situation individually? Do I deserve to not get an education because my child had to receive mental health care?
I would not normally vent in this forum, but I am a little mad.

" Western Charles Assesment Increases "

Enough is enough! The new assessment for Western Charles is way off considering everything we DON'T get out of the community. We continue to pay the same amount of taxes (this latest assessment was a 44.7% increase from the last one!)as the rest of the county residents but get very little in return and in comparison to services available and provided to the rest of the county.

This stinks!

" Merry Christmas! "

Merry Christmas to all especially my family and friends here in Nanjemoy & Waldorf, LaPlata, White Plains, Port Tobacco, Upper Marlboro, Falls Church & of course Boston!

My biggest wish this year again is twofold; a cure for all diseases (one is very selfish - a cure for MS of course) & an end to all killing of unborn babies. To date there would be another 45 beautiful million people in the United States from the time Roe v. Wade was passed at least & to me that is just senseless, cruel & something we should all demand an immediate change to regardless of politics. Killing babies is not a matter of politics - it's just wrong.

I would also like to extend a very heartfelt Merry Christmas to all our military men and women and to let them know that they are blessed especially for all they do every day in keeping the rest of us safe! God Bless you all and THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Christmas should be a time for our families to get together & enjoy each other's company so I hope everyone is doing just that right about now - along with spending some time praising, thanking, & giving time for Jesus. However, later today our family will join with other family members & celebrate our Christmas Eve for the first time without our "Grandpa" but we will remember his spirit & love nonetheless. And for others they will be celebrating their first without their Dad, Dad-Dad, husband, Uncle & Brother - Davie, who we just lost this past month. Yet again hearts will be filled will love & life this Eve as our family gathers across counties throughout this State celebrating the greatest Birth of all while the greatest deaths some of us have ever experienced are still very fresh & painfull.

Other members of our extended family have recently gone through various surgeries; from kidney transplant to double hernia operations to "stubborn stones" removal while others yet continue to battle lingering illnesses with cancer & other not so serious but certainly concerning health issues. For all, each of you is in our prayers and thoughts for a Special Christmas this year & many more!

In our Catholic Faith Christmas Day marks the day of "life", the day our Savior was born. I hope this day is to you a new day of "life" for each of you which brings many rewards & hope & love.

God Bless You & Thank You to All of You Who Have Been Apart of My Life!

" LIA SOPHIA!! "

Hey there ladies, I am a advisor for Lia Sophia Jewelry.
I have to say this adventure is the best yet. I started up Lia Sophia to pay for my dream of owing my own restaurant. I have to say the people I meet yesterday were awesome. Those group of ladies were all so uplifting and free spirited at heart. When I heard to money those girls made in a month my eyes almost came out! lol
On top of selling this wonderful Jewelry Hubby and I are in the beginning of our new baby venture. Like I said before I dream of owning a restaurant. Well this summer we really boomed with catering.. All by word of mouth. I have some of the most caring and loving friends that anyone can ask for.. My friends are the reason I am successful. They took their time to give me a chance..Thank you for caring..
I am sitting here thinking of life in general.. Life it self is mysterious. You never know what the next day will bring. I would never thought that I was on my way to achieving my dream.. I always said " You only live once so live your life to the fullest". I have a life list. I try to do thing on my life list and I add more to it. Everyone can have adventure in life everyday. Just got to go out there and do it.

As I am reading the different post in the forum I happen to notice one that caught my eye. About the kindness of people. In today, society has become " Easily Bothered". We are soo stress out about life that we forget to live and just let some stuff go... I am one who is trying to seek peace with my self on being easily bothered by others. I believed that we have become unconscious of our actions. Like being uptight when you don't even realize that you are being uptight. I find myself at time doing this. The good new is that life is a learning experience. We learn everyday we live.

Thank you for taking your time out of your schedule to read my journal. God Bless. Dana

I think I came off as an ass to many of you when I jumped down a certain person throat. I just wanted people to understand that I felt like I was the victim in a identity theft. I had no clue that a person could edit my post without needing my PW.. I never meant for her to get banned. I even asked to bring her back. I just don't how many time I can try to explain my case of being worried about my information being leaked out. With today's society you have to be careful. She has never done anything to me before this happened. If I could take it back I would, but I can't. I never said I was perfect. We all have faults. We all make mistakes in our lives. That is a part of living.
Is this issue going to effect my life. NO! Ever heard the saying " Don't Sweat the small stuff". Well That is what this is small stuff. The Internet is just my outlet for killing some downtime. Which we all do. As long as I have air to breath, a family to love, my health, and my bills are paid for then I am happy. It is even more of a brighter day when I have friends to share my day with. I consider anyone who comes into my life a friend. Until you cross me..
Live and be happy is my motto.. You got to live life to the fullest. Look at the brighter side of everything that come into you life. Everyday can be beautiful. The Darkest gloomy day can be your brightest and most beautiful day. It come from within you and what you make of you day.
To all my new friends in life. BBM

Is there a question you would like to ask or a local issue you would like to discuss?

I've said this in other forums... My mom said never put anything in writing that you can't back up...

Since January 2006 I have been talking about the issues that I feel I would love to work on....

Wow, they are calling for another hot day today. Last night we went out on our boat for a little cruise just before dusk and it was so nice and peaceful. This is a beautiful area. I hope the thunderstorms do not get too bad today.

There seems to be some really nice people on TheBayNet and a shout out to all who read this and have a GREAT DAY!

It's so hard to study - or at least to switch from work to study.
I think I may be getting dumber. Well, it could be worse because I was pretty darn smart to begin with - LOL. Really, I'm supposed to be planning a dissertation and my topic continues to get less clear.
:(
