Job Description

Long-Term and Rehabilitative Care facility with a workforce of approx. 215 is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to direct the human resources/personnel, staff development, and employee health departments.

Skills Required

Duties include, but are not limited to: policy and procedure compliance; managing employee insurance and retirement benefits programs and employee training programs, recruitment, hire and dismissal compliance, employee counseling, unemployment and worker's compensation compliance and processing. Creates and updates personnel policies. Works closely with all staff and all disciplines.

Experience Required

Qualified candidates will possess a BA or BS in Human Resources or Business Administration preferable but will consider person with significant experience in Human Resources/Personnel Administration in long-term care or healthcare related industry and PHR/SPHR certification.
Must possess a minimum of 5 years experience in Personnel Administration or Human Resource Management and Development. Must possess a thorough knowledge of wage and hour laws, labor laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning personnel administration in the long-term care facility.
