How To Quick Start Your Weight Loss Program Without Equipment

As a digital nomad, accessible and comfortable accommodation is my kind of luxury. I was in Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago and instantly fell in love with the splendid apartment I booked via travel blog. The location was perfect as it was just off the Royal Mile (widely referred to as the ‘Old Town’), within walking distance from Edinburgh Castle and several other tourist attractions in the area. Perched at the basement of an unassuming building, I was delighted to find that the apartment looked exactly like the pictures on the website (if not better)!

Ambience:
The “Stylish Apartment” was the perfect abode during my 5-day escapade in Scotland. Graeme, my host, was gracious enough to welcome me upon arrival. He gave me a fun mini-tour of the flat and showed me all the mod cons which (were so helpful throughout my stay there). I was relieved that there was even an iPad (& iPhone) I could use to look for places to explore in Edinburgh.

I loved the fact that I could navigate through the entire apartment quite easily because of the open layout. The bedroom was tastefully decorated and it was so cozy that I slept like a baby. Without a doubt, my favourite part was the living area with the Noguchi coffee table at the centre. I have a penchant for admiring classic pieces and I loved how the clear tabletop added to the seamless look of the place.

The view of the garden outside is refreshing especially after I explored the city and wanted some relaxing downtime. There were a couple of afternoons when I just lounged in the comfy couch and drank sweet wine, again kindly provided by Graeme. He is such an excellent host. I was especially impressed by the welcome package that he left on the first day. He had filled the fridge with goodies, including milk, bread, butter, orange juice, crisps, chocolate (and as mentioned – wine!) more than just essentials – and so appreciated – especially as I arrived quite late at night and wouldn’t have wanted to venture out again. Also, I didn’t have to worry about toiletries because again, he provided them along with fresh, fluffy towels. By far, the most convenient and accommodating place I ever been to.

This apartment really was my little haven in Edinburgh and I now cannot wait to book my return trip! A couple of my friends are planning to go to Scotland in a few months and I have suggested they take advantage of this hidden gem!
