Welfare check leads to DUI charges

LEONARDTOWN Md. - Oct. 29, Cpl. Foor responded to the 20900 block of Hermanville Road, in Lexington Park for check the welfare, regarding a vehicle on the side of the road with the occupants arguing. 

Cpl. Foor arrived in the area, located the vehicle and made contact with the operator, Leslie Tashawne Johnson, age 36 of Callaway.  Johnson was determined to be under the influence of alcohol, and subsequently arrested. 

Johnson was charged with Driving Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving Vehicle While Impaired by Alcohol, Attempting to Drive Vehicle While So Far Impaired by Drugs and Alcohol Cannot Drive Safely, Attempt to Drive Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol While Transporting Minor, Attempting to Drive Vehicle While Impaired by Alcohol While Transporting a Minor, Attempt to Drive a Vehicle While Impaired by Drug or Drugs and Alcohol While Transporting a Minor.  CASE# 58101-18
