‘You Should Be Dancin’ at park Saturday

St. Leonard, MD - On Saturday evening, Sept. 9 it will be time to turn back the hands of time and relive the Disco Era. The Friends of Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum (JPPM) present “Live at Jeff Patt, You Should Be Dancin’” The show will be held at the St. Leonard park’s Pavilion. The event is a tribute show featuring the music of the Bee Gees and Donna Summer.

The performers are the New York Bee Gees with Raniere Martin as Donna Summer Tribute Show.  It presents the most extravagant Bee Gees show a fan can experience. The band offers all of the classic 1970s disco hits from “Stayin’ Alive” to “Night Fever,” while embracing their early works such as “To Love Somebody,” “I’ve Got To Get A Message To You” and “Massachusetts.” According to event organizers, “the New York Bee Gees delivers songs from every decade of the Bee Gees’ catalog with a stunning production, powerful vocals and the professional stage presence.”

Tickets at the door are $50. General Admission tickets include cash bar, food vendor and general concert seating. Proceeds from the show will benefit the JPPM Education Station. Hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
