Orioles to hold Season Ticket Tag Day

Baltimore, MD - With the start of the regular season fast approaching, the Orioles will host Tag Day on Saturday, March 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Tag Day allows fans who are interested in purchasing a 2018 Birdland Ticket Membership, which includes a full season and several partial season plan options, an opportunity to “try out” seats before they make a purchase. Available seat locations will be tagged with pennants, and the pennants are color-coded to match the 2018 Partial Season Plan calendar. Orioles representatives will be stationed throughout Oriole Park to discuss Birdland Ticket Membership options and answer questions. Additional information on the day’s activities can be found at www.orioles.com/tagday.

The first 600 fans will receive either a TREY MANCINI or a JONATHAN SCHOOP t-shirt, while supplies last. The first 100 new buyers who purchase two or more seats as part of a new Birdland Ticket Membership will receive a copy of the Orioles’ keepsake book, “60 Years of Orioles Magic.” Throughout the day, fans will also have the chance to win Orioles autographed memorabilia every 30 minutes simply by providing their name and contact information at Home Plate Plaza when they arrive at the ballpark. No purchase necessary, and fans do not have to be present to win. Additionally, all fans who purchase a Birdland Ticket Membership during the event will be invited to take an on-field photo with the Oriole Bird and have their photo shared on the Orioles official Facebook page.

Purchasing a Birdland Ticket Membership, including the popular 13-game plan, is the only way for fans to gain access to Orioles Opening Day on Thursday, March 29, against the Minnesota Twins.

Birdland Ticket Memberships are available in 81-game, 29-game, and 13-game packages, and members are exclusively entitled to Orange Carpet Benefits, including a significant discount on tickets and parking over single-game prices; MLB’s most flexible exchange policy; priority access to postseason, Opening Day, and other special events; early ballpark access; and more. For a complete list of benefits, which includes a new tiering system (Diamond, Black, and Orange) and a variety of unique experiences, fans are encouraged to visit www.orioles.com/ocp.

Free parking for Tag Day is available in Lot A. Fans should use the Home Plate Plaza entrance to the ballpark, located between Gates D & E.  For more information, call 1-888-848-BIRD or visit www.orioles.com.
