Man jailed for attempted murder in Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - On Feb. 28  at 11:45 p.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of Tyler Avenue in Annapolis for the reports of shots fired. 

Through investigation, it was determined that two men were standing in the parking lot when one of them attempted to shoot the other with a handgun. The intended victim, a 32-year-old man from Baltimore, was not struck. Officers located the suspect, Jamar Isaac, 29, also of Baltimore, in the unit block of Bricin Street. A loaded handgun was recovered from his jacket pocket. 

Isaac was arrested and charged with attempted murder. Isaac is awaiting his initial hearing before the District Court Commissioner. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Detective Shomar Johnson at 410-260-3439 or
