Brush fire continues to keep crews busy

Lexington Park, Md- At 8:14 a.m. on March 3rd, the emergency communications center received a call from a passerby about a brush fire in the area of Thompson Orchard Lane and Point Lookout Road.

The passerby, who ultimately stopped and called authorities, told on the scene, "I drove pass and at first thought it was just someone burning brush, and I thought it was a little to windy for that. I turned around and realized no one was out there with the fire. That's when I called 911."
