John grew up in Clinton MD. He became an entrepreneur at a young age. He started he own business mowing grass in Hillcrest Heights when he was only a teenager. Everyone knew John was a self-starter who developed a passion of owning his own business. His lawn care business evolved into a home contracting business. He retired from the electrical union, IBEW Local 26. In the Process he bought and rented out many homes.

Of his greatest accomplishments, was his daughter Maryann, who meant the world to him. He also loved country dancing, the beach and boardwalks. John loved helping out the elderly and would drop everything to fix a leak or start a furnace late at night . He would help do anything for anyone who was in need.
