Man sentenced for attempted murder

Leonardtown, MD- A California man has been sentenced for attempted second-degree murder and robbery.

On Tuesday, Jan. 30, Judge David W. Densford sentenced Delonte Deangelo Harvey, 25, to 15 years in prison with all but six years suspended on the charge of attempted murder. Harvey was also sentenced to 15 years with all but six years suspended on the robbery charge. Those sentences will run concurrently.

In September of 2017, Harvey pleaded guilty to the attempted murder charge and robbery. He was arrested and charged along with two other men in April of 2016 for a shooting and stabbing in the Greenbrier neighborhood off Hermanville Road in Lexington Park.

Javone Lawrence Warrick, 26, also pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree murder and robbery. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison with all but 7 years suspended.

Keyonte Tarez Robinson, 24, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor handgun charge. He was sentenced to three years in prison with all 18 months suspended. Robinson was authorized work release and ordered to serve a two year supervised probation upon release.

Harvey was also sentenced to five years of supervised probation upon release.
