River Concert Series Opens with a Great Time

This Friday saw the opening of the 10th annual River Concert Series in Historic St. Mary's City. The series premier saw fun, a food, and great music for all ages. The Bay Net was there to capture it all. Take a look at the pictures and see what is in store for future concerts. Each year, St. Mary’s College of Maryland hosts the popular River Concert Series, conducted by internationally renowned recording artist, music director and conductor, Jeffrey Silberschlag. The series offers free concerts each Friday through July. Concerts begin at 7 p.m. and the grounds open at 5 p.m. The shows are free to the public. There are refreshments and concessions for sale by a number of organizations and business to make the concert experience enjoyable for everyone. |
