Subway Sub Shop Robbed at Gunpoint

On April 24 at 9:53 p.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the Pinefield Subway restaurant located at 2112 Crain Highway in Waldorf for the report of an armed robbery.

The investigation revealed a male suspect entered the business, approached an employee at the cash register, brandished a handgun and demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing black clothing and black shoes. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds.
