Chelsie Stanley, an 8th grade honor student at Spring Ridge Middle School, a member of the National Junior Honor Society, a member of the National Congressional Youth Leadership Council, and a member of the Student Government Association, will be hosting a fundraiser on her behalf entitled “An Evening with Chelsie and Friends” on Friday, April 11, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Three Notch Theatre on 21744 South Coral Drive in Lexington Park. All are encouraged to attend.

Chelsie has been selected to participate in the People to People Student Ambassador Program (http://www.studentambassadors.org/). The People to People Student Ambassador Programs provides international educational opportunities and helps to build leadership skills among America’s youth.

Through this program, Chelsie will be able to visit and tour the United Kingdom and Ireland this summer and earn high school and college credits and broaden her perspective of the world by gaining a better understanding of the British and Irish heritage.

An evening of entertainment will be presented that will feature solo and ensemble string performances, an illusionist, and theater skits from the Newtowne Players as a part of Chelsie’s fund raising efforts.

For reservations and tickets, contact Quenton Stanley at 301-769-8073.  Also, tickets are based on availability and may not be available at the door.   Ticket prices are as follows:

•         Ages 13 and up ($10)
