13-Year-Old Female Sexually Assaulted

LEXINGTON PARK - 10/8/2009

On Wednesday, Oct. 7, at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the Lexington Park area of St. Mary’s County for a reported sexual assault.

Members of the St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations were contacted and assumed the investigation. The BCI investigation revealed that a 13 year old female was sexually assaulted by Josh A. Maddox, 37 of Lexington Park.

When confronted, Maddox responded to BCI and admitted to the allegations. He was charged with second degree rape and incarcerated at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending a review with the District Court Commissioner.

MADDOXX? The whole FAMILY are SCUMBAGS!!!!!
You always see them in here for assault, theft, drugs, DUI and now THIS.

I went to GMHS with some of those boys back in the day, no good then and no good now.

Every family has one or more bad seeds but that doesn't give you the right to refer to the whole family my last name may not be Maddox but I am and always will be a Maddox. My ancestors and family were/are very hard working people and I am not sure if this individual is a part of the Maddox's that I came from but I am truely offended by your choose of words. I have never been one to make trouble, I think the next time you want to make a comment try choosing your words wisely. We are all God children, not sure if you are a person who believes but I am, some people just make the wrong decisions and he will pay for what he has done.

I AM OUTRAGE! THIS CHILD WAS THIRTEEN Y/O FOR HEAVEN SAKES. IT NOT LIKE THIS CHILD IS OLD ENOUGH TO CONSENT TO INTERCOURSE. THE STATE OF MARYLAND NEED TO FRY THIS SOB.

The 2nd degree rape charge is what the police used when he was booked. It's up to the prosecuter to decide what to charge him with and to then prosecute him. Give the system a chance to work here!

If you look at this particular charge for rape, one incident is dated 10/1/08 and one is dated 12/1/08. Did she consent to those dates and last week they got caught??????????

In defense of the Maddox name... There are quite a few last names in the County that pertain to hundreds of people. And sometimes one family is not even related to the other. It would be like saying that all Thompson's or all Ridgell's are bad news. (None of which are true I was just using it as an example.) And you know we all have those in our family that we see more in the judiciary search then we do at family functions.

Girls these days are dressing more and more like prostitutes. She probably led him on, and then they started and she didn't like it. Or she lied. Only a theory, but still. And those of you that disagree that they dress like prostatots, do you even leave your house anymore?

In your mind, if a child is dressed provacatively she is obviously open for sex? I've seen 10 year olds with some Hannah Montanna clothes on that I would never dress my daughter in because it looks trashy/slutty IMO. You believe that those 10 year olds are on the prowl for sex? It's up to the adult to not have sex with kids even if it's a teenage girl begging for it. It's plain and simple. You can't justify raping an 8 year old, 14 year old, or even 16 year old based on clothing or perceived maturity. They're still CHILDREN until they turn 18. Adults should leave CHILDREN alone. End of story.

Look at this guys record, he has been in and out of jail, the judges never keep him locked up. He doesnt care about the law, he gets away with all of his crimes. If there are no consequences, why NOT commit these crimes? LOCK HIS WORTHLESS ARSE UP, AND LEAVE HIM THERE!!!
