Police Investigate Death of 3-Year-Old

On Aug.19 at 8:26 a.m., officers and emergency medical personnel responded to the 3000 block of Heathcote Road in Waldorf for the report of a three-year-old male not breathing.
Upon arrival, the child, DeSean Tyrese Wade, was found unresponsive. He was transported to Civista Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. The child was sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore where an autopsy will be performed. The cause and manner of death are unknown at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
