PRINCE FREDERICK - 7/4/2009
By Dennis Hook
|
At approximately 4:00 am on Saturday, July 4th, the Prince Frederick and Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squads had a report of an auto accident on Calvert Towne Road in Prince Frederick.
As police arrived on the scene, the first report came back as a passenger vehicle caught up on utility wires.
Once Prince Frederick VFD arrived on scene, the unit discovered that a car had driven straight up an electrical pole guide wire.
The driver had already gotten out of the car without any injuries. The commander on the scene decided that no additional fire or rescue service was needed and the matter was left in the hands of the Calvert Sheriff’s Department, tow truck removal and SMECO. |
