Accident Near Spring Ridge Middle School Closes 235 in Both Directions

TheBAYNET.com is on the scene of a multiple car accident with multiple personal injuries which has closed Rt. 235 in both directions. It is known at this time that at least three cars were involved in the accident and that a juvenile was flown out by Trooper 4 to Children's Hospital.

Rescue crews responded to this serious motor vehicle accident with injuries in Lexington Park at approximately 4:40 p.m. on June 25 in the 19800 block of Three Notch Road near Spring Ridge Middle School.

Initial reports indicate six people were injured including one person who was trapped. First responders had to complete the extraction
prior to transporting other patients. Maryland State Police are on the scene working the reconstruction investigation and the road closure is expected to continue for some time before authorities are done their investigation.
