A Topsy Turvy 24 Hours in St. Mary's

Monday, June 22, turned out to be a busy 24 hours for emergency first responders in St. Mary’s County with three separate rollover accidents scattered across the region.

The first such incident was at 2:30 a.m. in the area of 17723 Three Notch Road in Dameron. The next accident was a vehicle on it's side at approximately 7:45 a.m. in the area of 43300 St. Andrews Church Road in California.

The final rollover of the day occurred in Valley Lee at approximately 11:50 p.m. (pictured here) where units from Lexington Park and Second District responded to a rollover in a field in the 44900 block of Blake Creek Road. At the scene, one victim suffered from a head injury and was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital. A second victim signed a treatment refusal.
