On May 28, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Deputy M Boyer was conducting a patrol check of the Lexington Village Apartments.

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office has received complaints of suspicious activity, possible controlled dangerous substance violations.  Deputy Boyer observed Kevin Antionne Makle, 26 of Mechanicsville, seated in a vehicle in the parking lot.  When Deputy Boyer shined the spotlight on Makle’s vehicle Makle appeared to be moving objects around.  Makle then attempted to quickly exit the vehicle.  Deputy Boyer approached and noticed a folding knife on the center console.  Deputy Boyer also observed a marijuana blunt sitting in the front passenger seat.

Makle was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
