Man Charged with Sexually Abusing 8-Year-Old Girl

ST. MARY'S COUNTY - 4/29/2009

On April 28, St. Mary’s County BCI detectives arrested Clyde J. Gainer, Jr., 47 of Charlotte Hall, and charged him with child sexual abuse, child abuse, and child sexual abuse in a continuing course of action. 

The arrest was a result of a BCI investigation into the sexual child abuse of an 8-year-old female, that Gainer had temporary care and custody of over a two year period in California.

Gainer was incarcerated at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.

Oh my, once again we have to read about a nasty P.O.S sexually abusing a CHILD!!!
What is wrong with people today? How could anyone do that to a child. At least this jerk-off looked at the camera.
I feel awful for that 8 year old girl!

See this is why..
There should be no "Sex offender register".. They should just leave ALL SEX OFFENDERS IN JAIL!! Dont let them out and say "You have to register as a sex offender, blah blah blah".. Keep them locked up!

I agree that there should be no "sex offender register" however, I disagree that we should leave them in jail. That just means you and I have to pay for their stay in prison. We should ship them all off to other countries that are in need of people to do their dirty jobs. That or just excute the POS's all together. An 8 year old?? This guy really disgusts me.

So where can I find these facts about all kids in Africa having AIDS? Are those stats on your Ku Klux Klan website? Also, you never clarified the second part of my comment. Do you feel its OK for African kids with AIDS to get molested? I assume you didn't want to answer that due to fear of people not approving your sick thoughts.

Stronger Penalties Castration?
In our society criminals have more rights than abiding citizens, Tax dollars pay for criminals housing, food and even education, for what, to get out and return to criminal life. What do they contribute to our society? Our Jail system is the most relaxed in the entire world, many other countries believe in harsh time and once convicted you do not have rights, inhuman or not. Look at Joe Arpaio, Sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona. He has reinstituted the Chain Gang, his convicts sleep in tents, no TV, no AC. I think Jails should be self supporting, meaning the need to make a sellable product and generate enough income to justify it's existence. No Money, no food. Capitol Crime should receive Capital Punishment. If on Death Row, you should not be allow to have unlimited Appeals and live for another 10 years. Oh Sexual Assault on Minors, CASTRATION should be automatic, this would stop that from happening again.

Are either of you going to run for judge? Although extreme, your punishment would actually fit the crime. And kids wouldn't have to worry about him being a repeat offender.

Unfortunately, some bleeding heart lawyer will convince a bleeding heart judge to let him out on bail.

I hope the young lady realizes she had nothing to do with this. It was 100% the fault of the scumbag.

By now, most of you have seen some of my posts and you still haven't learned. I will chalk that up to the County school system down here. But as you probably know the US gov't will not castrate him, or hang, burn, beat or kill him. What they will do is put him on trial. Then the jury will decide guilty or innocent, then the court will hand down a punishment if found guilty. YOU freaks don't have a say in any of that unless you are on the jury(which i doubt you dopes qualify) or you are the judge(which I am positive none of you are). Now would you please stop posting fantasies. Nobody cares "what you would do to him". If you have something to say about the case, say it but quit typing ridiculous, meaningless words that dont prove a point except that you people are morons. Its hard to have an intelligent conversation in these parts, but I'm staying. My job is to educate you mush heads. Thanks for listening.

You can delete this comment, it's just an observation and suggestion. Comments lately are really going downhill, IE. the nasty exchanges in this thread, people calling each other fags etc. On the flip side, your forums suck and are completely dead. Why not implement a Washington Post style comments section for articles where the readers are transported to your forums to boost readership and participation. It also gets all the trash posters out of sight from the less tolerant readership. Just my two cents.

You are being a true hypocrite and using offensive language. The BayNet should not have posted your slanderous comment. But to the real issue at hand, this man will face his day in court and hopefully the little girl will be able to move past this horrid incident in her life.

Reports on past offenders and sentences
Yes we hear the first report done about the abuse, but why are we not hearing the sentences these pedophiles get and what happens when they are released? They need to be closely watched by US and reported on by the news and paper..These offenders always repeat their crimes...Its a shame everyone forgets the crime, just as the offender hopes we will do. Who looks up the sex offenders list except for some parents who are being good and careful. We need to publicize the sex offenders list weekly so the community will be reminded that these criminals are out there waiting for their next victim. Victims of sexual abuse are our future drug addicts, alcoholics, pychiatric patients and all around depressed and haunted people.

Some who comment have very common sense, intellent things to say. However then come the people who trash one another to get a laugh and get one other thing...you or I to play their game. Temptation usually wins and we do, I have before because their lack of intelligence wins out. But lets stop giving them what they want and they will go away. Think about it, they obviously do not stick to the article at hand and contribute to an intellent forum...so what they are trying to do is get anyone who will pay attention in a heated match with them. But, what usually happens is the defender starts out fine commenting on their inappropriate behavior...but that too eventually goes downhill. Because Baynet does not delete out the useless comments it's up to us to completely ignore it. Trust me...they'll eventually go away when you don't play with them.

Now just watch how they respond to this....I rest my case.

Baywatch...why do you not do like many other sites and have moderators? The moderator weeds out these comments very quickly. The moderator does not have to sat all day reading articles...the comments come to them to alert.

how dumb some of you sound.
this message isnt for everyone on here but some of you need to look at what you wrote. it was a horrible thing that happened to an innocent child, and all you guys can think about it arguing about it how to ship him off and do all this. it was a sick thing this man did and yes child molesters need a worse punishment then what the get but shipping him somewhere else kids are is not the answer either and saying he can molest the kids in africa and get aids. real nice thats harsh to africa yes some of the kids have aids but they didnt ask for that and its not right you think it would be ok for him to molest them just to gets aids you ever think about the kids situation. you must not have kids!
