On April 6, at 9:58 a.m., Tpr. G. Thompson responded to the 21000 block of Willis Wharf Court in Lexington Park for the reported Identity Theft.

Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 42 of Lexington Park. She advised her husband went to the bank to deposit money into their son’s account and discovered approximately $450 had been withdrawn from the account.  While at the bank, a check was made on their account and it revealed that unknown suspect(s) had closed the complainant’s account on March 2, and transferred the balance of their account to another Bank of America Branch in Philadelphia, PA.

The investigation is ongoing.
