On April 9 at 12:17 a.m., officers responded to the 4200 block of Drake Court in Waldorf for the report of a disturbance.

Investigation revealed a male resident answered a knock at the door and was confronted by a female who asked if a female resident was at home. The male shut the door and the female resident stayed inside. Moments later, someone fired shots at the house, striking a window.

No one was injured.

The occupants provided little information other than the shooting may have been the result of a prior dispute between the suspects and residents.
