Fatal Crash Claims Life of Lexington Park Woman

UPDATE 3:45 p.m. Preliminary investigation reveals vehicle # 1, 2006 Honda, Civic driven by Lindsey Rudolph, 29 of Lexington Park, was traveling northbound on Three Notch Road. Vehicle #2, a 2005 Ford, E350 driven by Donald Matlock, 29 of Mechanicsville, was traveling southbound Three Notch Road. The driver of vehicle #1 veered across the center median into the southbound traffic of Three Notch Road. Vehicle #1 struck Vehicle #2. The driver of vehicle #1 was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of vehicle #2 was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital by ambulance. The Sheriff's Office Collision Reconstruction Team responded and is continuing the investigation. UPDATE 12 p.m. UPDATE 9:15 a.m. Authorities are on the scene of a serious accident on Southbound Three Notch Road at South Sandgates Road in Oakville. The accident happened around 8:45 a.m. on Monday, March 23. |
