Pharmacy Employee Caught Stealing Oxycodone

On March 6, at 11:57 a.m., Deanna Christian Higgs, 26 of Mechanicsville, was arrested by Tpr. M. Koock for theft under $500 and possession of schedule II prescription medications. 

Higgs was an employee at the Tidewater Pharmacy in Mechanicsville when she was caught taking Oxycodone pills, (three each of 5mg, 15mg and 30mg) and also having three and a half Buprenerphine 8mg/Naloxone 2mg pills.  

Higgs was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review.

Why would you steal Oxycodone and also steal the drug that helps you to get off of addiction to Oxycodone. Sounds like someone selling to me...

You would not believe what people pay for those Oxycodone pills. Its no wonder that people try and sell them. Years ago I had shoulder surgery and was given oxy's for the pain. I was only given 20 milligram pills. The street value at that time as $1.00 per milligram...$20.00 per pill. I actually had a guy i know come to my house the day i got home from surgery and offer my $1,200.00 cash for all 60 of my pills. I was like "dude, seriously, do you not see my shoulder? What the hell am I supposed to take for it???"

From what i have heard Oxy's can go up to 120 milligrams...$120.00 per pill and yes I knew idiots big enough to buy those ones as well. CRAZY!

Boy, it sure does sound like you're pretty educated about which pharmacuticals cover which ailments...have a little experience it that? hahaha

Oh I hear all the stories,I work for a doctor who prescribes Suboxone and you wouldn't believe some of the stories I hear about how much these people pay for pills etc.. Its unbelievable and it seems to get worse everyday!! Between the Oxy's and the Percocet's we are talking big bux!!! And I am not sure why, I had to take Percocet's one time and they made me deathly il.. Never again!!!

As a matter of fact as I said before I have the experience because I work for a doctors office, not that I have to explain myself to you.. Do you need an appointment? I can hook you up with one.

haha yea I "heard" stories about what I was like when I was on those oxy's. My mom came to Maine to help take care of me, since I was right handed I couldn't do anything from the surgery for over a month. Anyways, she said my eyes would roll back in my head and I would just kinda pass out randomly...like when we were eating dinner. She made chicken noodle soup for me and they had to grab my head cause I about passed out in my bowl of soup...hahaha they also said I was a moody little douche bag.
