On Feb. 17 at approximately 3:10 p.m., police responded to the corner of Great Mills Road and Saratoga Drive in Lexington Park for a report of a man lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound. BCI detectives determined the wound was self inflicted. The 53-year-old Lexington Park man was pronounced dead on the scene. TBN has learned that a male has been shot in the area of Great Mills Road and Saratoga in Lexington Park near PNC Bank. Police and rescue units are rushing to the scene now (3 p.m.). Unconfirmed reports are that a male and female were arguing on the sidewalk in front of the bank and the male pulled out a handgun and shot himself in the head.
