BCI Narcotic Detectives Hard at Work

Vice Narcotics detectives executed search and seizure warrants on the home and vehicle of Kodi Tevon Robinson, 28 of Lexington Park. Between the car and home nearly one pound of marijuana was recovered as well as cocaine and a handgun.

Robinson is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing a firearm. He was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, felon in possess of a handgun and possession of cocaine. Additional charges are pending a State’s Attorney’s Office review.

Vice Narcotics detectives also indicted Lawrence Clifton Bankins, 25 of Lexington Park, for felony drug and weapons violations related to a search warrant that was executed on his residence in September of 2008.

Gary Wayne Harper Jr., 35 of Mechanicsville, was arrested after Vice Narcotics detectives indicted him for possession of various steroids with the intent to distribute. The initial warrant was a “No Bond” warrant.

The St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations Narcotics Division is an investigative team comprised of detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office,  Maryland State Police Drug Enforcement Division and Federal Drug Agents (HIDTA Group 34). The Division was established on Sept. 1, 2007 and is based in St. Mary’s County.
