Schools Earn Cash for Green Efforts
ST. MARY'S COUNTY - 12/8/2008

On Nov 25, as part of our continuing efforts in energy conservation and to recognize the schools for their achievements in saving energy, schools received awards for reducing electric consumption in fiscal year 2008, compared to fiscal year 2007. Schools receiving $300 for saving 3% are Esperanza Middle School, Lexington Park Elementary School, and Mechanicsville Elementary School. George Washington Carver Elementary School received an award of $400 for 4% in savings. |
