On Dec. 6 and 7, the Chopticon High School Madrigal Peace Pipers will hold their thirtieth Madrigal Dinner at Christ Church in Chaptico. Both days, the festivities begin at 6 p.m.

During the event, the Chopticon Divas will interact with guests in a roaring good fifteenth century time, serving and cajoling while the Peace Pipers entertain. “Everyone will be in authentic fifteenth century costumes and talking in period couplets,” said Sarah Vence, Chopticon’s Choral Director. “Everyone should have a great time.”

Attendees should be prepared for a wonderful evening of great food, catered by Rita B’s and some wonderful and fun music.

“Our prices haven’t changed,” said Vence. “We are trying

to make it so that everyone may attend and have fun.” Ticket prices remain the same as last year at $35. “That is a pretty good deal for a three-course dinner and two hours of original entertainment!” exclaimed Vence.

The event is used to raise funds for Chopticon’s music and choral programs and has proven to be quite successful throughout the years. Those wishing to reserve tickets can do so in advance by emailing chopticonchorus@email.com.

But, wait! There’s more! During the week following Thanksgiving, TBN will be giving away two tickets to this great event! Be sure to stay tuned and look for your chance to win.
