On Nov. 17, at 9:26 a.m., Trooper First Class Roy was responding to a residence on Old Time Drive in Prince Frederick, for a reported burglary.  Witnesses called 911 and gave a description of a vehicle seen leaving the area.  The description was broadcasted to the responding units.

Trooper First Class Roy observed the vehicle and stopped it in the Prince Frederick Shopping Center.  Travis Robert Eiza, 19 of Prince Frederick, and Timothy Daniel Button, 19 of Port Republic, were identified by a witness and were placed under arrest.

Evidence linking the suspects to the scene of the crime was located in the suspect’s vehicle.  A search warrant at one of the suspect’s homes led to the recovery of over $1,600 worth of stolen property.  Both suspects were taken to the barrack for processing and later incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
