The River’s Edge Restaurant in Benedict will host a Dine to Donate fundraiser to benefit Teen Court, a juvenile justice diversion program coordinated by the Charles County Sheriff’s Office.

The fundraiser will be held on Dec. 13, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant will donate 10 percent of its profits to Teen Court. No reservations or flyers are necessary to participate. The restaurant is located at 7320 Benedict Avenue in Benedict.

For questions about the event, contact Karen Boecher of River’s Edge at (301) 274-2544 or Teen Court Coordinator Sarah Vaughan at (301) 609-3916.

At Teen Court, youth offenders are represented by youth defense attorneys, prosecuted by youth prosecutors and sentenced by youth juries. Adult volunteers serve as judges. For more information about the program, which is in its eighth year, visit the Sheriff’s Office’s Web site, www.ccso.us.
