DUI Saturation Patrol Results

On Oct. 31, seven members of the Leonardtown Barrack participated in a DUI Saturation Patrol concentrating patrol efforts along the Three Notch Road corridor between Lexington Park and Hollywood. As a result of their enforcement efforts, troopers made 32 traffic stops and arrested six subjects for DUI. Also during the initiative, Trooper Gresko effected a large drug arrest seizing 332.20 grams of Hashish, 27 grams of marijuana, 116 grams of Hashish Oil, $10,021.72 of U.S. Currency, 2000 Cadillac Escalade and various pieces of CDS paraphernalia.

rghjr 11/6/2008 at 4:08 PM BUST'EM I feel, that is allot of drugs for stopping cars on the highway. Lexington Park and Hollywood is not a long strech of road. Keep up the GOOD POLICE work. As always with more drugs there are more robberies, theft, shoplifting and such crimes. This will keep us safer at home and in public. Can we do this every week ? Reply to This Comment

davidson 11/7/2008 at 6:33 AM Reply to rghjr: DO MORE! THEY SHOULD DO THIS EVERYDAY.SIX ARREST IS NOTHING COMPARED TOO THE AMOUNT OF DRUNKS ON THE ROAD. THE AMOUNT OF CARS AT ALL THE MANY BARS IN ST. MARYS. IT'S GOOD TOO SEE SO MANY DESIGNATED DRIVES. HA! HA! OH, AND WHILE IM COMPLAINING. ANYBODY KNOW WHERE THE DEPUTYS ARE DURING THE RUSH HOUR NASCAR RACE?
