Calvert Shuttle Resumes Service

Calvert County bus service to the Calvert Village Shopping Center resumes service Nov. 3, for Prince Frederick Shuttle Buses I and II. Service to the shopping center begins at 8:31 a.m., with earlier stops available upon request.

The bus stop is located at the northeast corner of the shopping center at the Safeway store. Pick-ups are scheduled for every 30 minutes, with the last stop at 8:04 p.m., Monday through Friday. On Saturdays, stops are scheduled at 17 minutes and 55 minutes past the hour, with the last stop set for 3:55 p.m.

Passengers on regular route buses wishing to go to the shopping center may transfer to the Prince Frederick Shuttle buses at Calvert Pines Senior Center.

The shuttle fare is $.75. The fare for seniors 60 and over and riders age 7 through 17 is $.25, and children age 6 and under are free. All fares are one way.
