Local Barn Erupts into Flames, Multiple Firefighters Involved
ST. MARY'S COUNTY - 10/30/2008

Multiple Fire Units from Leonardtown, Hollywood, and Bay District responded to a working barn fire on the Thompson farm at 25102 Vista Road. Firefighters battled the fully involved farm structure for quite a while before getting the fire under control. Water lines were laid out from the nearby Briscoe farm in order to supplement water supplies to fight the stubborn blaze. Some of the pictures below were taken by a TBN reader A.J. Farmer.
